About the Role

To plan and ensure execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and events for the allocated Business Portfolio (BP), in full alignment with the policies and procedures of the Al Tayer Group (ATG) and the Brand / Principals guidelines.

 What You’ll Be Doing

 Functional Roles & Responsibilities

·       Drive the Lifestyle Marketing division through developing and executing omni marketing plans    according to the specific and identified needs of the BU.

·       Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant Principal requirements and guidelines, ensuring that all the respective brands within the BU apply and adhere to the guidelines across all managed marketing activities.

·       Work with the cross functional teams to align on brand strategy and deliver marketing activation in line with business and brand expectations.

·       Identify opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands represented and make suitable recommendations.

·       Map competitors ‘activities vis a vis communication, pricing, packaging and planning in relation to allocated Al Tayer brand strategy.

·       Maintain coordination will all ATG stakeholders to ensure full awareness of forthcoming campaigns and marketing activations.

·       Provide reports to BU / Principals on brand performance, marketing initiatives, customer mix, post event reports after each sponsorship/display activity, etc as required.

·       Ensure accurate maintenance of the archiving system for all executed elements in the marketing calendar.

·       Maintain effective working relations and contacts with key external parties, such as vendors, mall management, etc.

·       Manage budget accordingly to business priorities and ensure tracking.

·       Manage and motivate the team to carry out the marketing plans and develop talent.

About You

 Education/Certification and Continued Education

·  Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Business, Marketing Management or Mass Communications.

Years of Experience

·       7 to 10 of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role working with/for brand conscious organizations in a relevant retail industry.

Knowledge and Skills

·       Strong collaboration skills

·       Experienced presenter

·       Omni-channel experience

·       Must have a good command of English. Arabic language skills would be an advantage

·       Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills

·       Should be able to lead and motivate teams

·       Should be Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel
