Job Purpose
As a Make Up Artist, you will deliver exceptional artistry and create memorable beauty experiences for our customers. Through expert application, product knowledge, and creativity, you will inspire customers to explore new looks while driving sales and brand loyalty.
What You’ll Do
Welcome customers with warmth and professionalism, offering personalized makeovers and expert product recommendations.
Demonstrate and apply makeup techniques tailored to each customer’s preferences and needs.
Cross-sell and recommend complementary products to maximize sales and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Build strong relationships with regular customers, providing follow-up support and promoting repeat sales.
Stay ahead of trends by implementing new techniques and product applications learned during brand training sessions.
Maintain immaculate standards in the beauty room/makeup studio to ensure a premium customer experience.
Represent Bloomingdale’s Beauty at events such as fashion shows and brand activations to enhance visibility and awareness.
Collaborate with store teams during in-store promotions to boost sales and elevate brand image.
What You’ll Bring
High school / “O” Levels qualification, with additional certification in makeup artistry or cosmetology.
Level 2 & 3 Beauty Academy certification (preferred).
1–2 years’ experience as a Makeup Artist, ideally in a retail or luxury beauty environment.
Strong artistry skills with a passion for makeup trends, techniques, and products.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
