About the Role
Support with the implementing and standards of the given Schemes, Thematic and Visual points of interest – related to business calendar planning for the Beauty Stores. Participate and identify gaps in the day to day standards of the store/floor/BU and work with your team on smooth rhythms of the exposure points by use of the Visual Merchandise and Planning calendar supplied and communicated.
What You’ll Be Doing
Functional Roles & Responsibilities
· Support as a key member the Creative Visual Merchandise Strategy for Beauty Store (s).
· Work with team on the management of Window, floor, Store and Interior displays, floorplans, props and Special promotions.
· Set up and maintain displays through given materials the key messages and ensure the maintaining of clear image of end result – through multidisciplined design tools.
· Assist with suppliers, brand personnel and contribute to the sourcing of elements, materials and all Visual Merchandise related (other) props –with self-initiating and accountable attitude.
· Keep up the various business units and departments collaboration in order to carry out the Creative directional needs of campaigns and other business instore needs.
· Seek out and source the best in class through competitive shops and visits – and submit regular feedback and visit reports using the supplied templates to reporting line or as requested by Business unit.
· Resourceful and knowledgeable in Creative implementations to hit the given overall department initiatives.
· Collaborate in the creation and production of displays, signage, interior/exterior and special promotional displays and opportunities.
· Maintain the Visual Merchandise Guidelines in Store(s) and carry out the updates/changes said guidelines.
· Delivery on time against deadlines the various installations, through planning, time management and calendar control knowledge
· Attend meetings and collaborative huddles in order to decipher work priorities and ensure the rhythms of seasonal works, through attending Store (s) visits
· Stay ahead of design trends, materials and market lifestyle needs as relevant to role, department – brand (s) – reporting back to business unit opportunities and new ways.
· Participate in the Warehouse visits, control of inventory and monitoring of assets – up to 4 times annually
· Facilitate the Supplier and Contractor access /permits– material checks and sign off of materials – when implemented in said store/floor/department.
· Proactively engage in positive work environment through communication, interactions and written resources with Team, Division and with external clientele also.
· Act in alignment to organization’s culture, product, image and target market.
· Time management and priority setting against timelines is an essential capability.
· Manage own KPIs and Goals for annual assessment
Years of Experience
2-4 years’ experience in VM
· Demonstrate Visual Design skills and strong retail merchandising portfolio
