Job Purpose

To operate company vehicles for the efficient and timely pickup and delivery of goods across various locations, ensuring items are handled with care and customer satisfaction is maintained.

Licenses & Skills

  • Valid UAE Driving License (Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle as required)

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Well-organized, punctual, and responsible

  • Courteous with a professional appearance

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

  • Collect and deliver items as per the defined schedule and designated locations

  • Ensure goods are transported in good condition and without damage

  • Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from receiving personnel

Support to Logistics & Retail Operations

  • Transport goods between warehouse, stores, and customer premises based on operational requirements

  • Coordinate with store or warehouse teams to verify delivery instructions

Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Ensure delivery documents are complete, accurate, and signed

  • Report any delays, issues, or incidents to the Transport/Logistics Supervisor

Customer Interaction

  • Represent the company positively during deliveries with professional conduct

  • Handle customer queries or concerns courteously and escalate when required

Health, Safety & Vehicle Maintenance

  • Follow all road and traffic regulations for safe driving

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues for timely maintenance

  • Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines while loading/unloading goods

Education & Certification Requirements

  • High School qualification

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sense of responsibility and time management

  • Ability to follow routes and schedules efficiently

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to operational needs
