We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence, enhance business efficiency, and ensure Al Tayer Insignia’s continued growth and success. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will oversee core operational functions, implement strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performing culture. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize business operations in one of the region’s leading luxury and fashion companies, Al Tayer Insignia.

About The Role

The COO will develop and implement long-term business strategies in alignment with the CEO’s vision. This includes overseeing business planning, execution, and operational system improvements, driving efficiency, and streamlining administrative and operational processes. The role requires identifying market trends and business opportunities to ensure continuous growth and developing performance metrics and reporting frameworks for optimal business oversight.

A key aspect of this role involves leading business transformation and change management initiatives. The COO will oversee leasing, logistics, projects, risk management, IT, and digital transformation functions, ensuring smooth integration and collaboration across all business units. Driving profitability and enhancing customer experience through process optimization will be a core focus.

The COO will also play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation within the organization. Leadership, inspiration, and development of high-performing teams across various business functions will be essential. The role requires implementing best practices in leadership development and succession planning while ensuring adherence to corporate governance and ethical standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. They should have over 20 years of experience in business operations, with at least 15 years in senior management roles within the retail sector. A proven track record in managing large-scale business operations, driving transformation, and leading cross-functional teams is essential.

This role demands strong leadership and strategic planning abilities, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Expertise in business process improvement, risk management, and operational efficiency is required. The ability to manage change and implement transformation initiatives is crucial, as is strong financial acumen and commercial awareness. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
