Job Purpose

To oversee the receipt, storage, and movement of visual merchandising assets across the retail portfolio. This role ensures the effective management of inventory, asset protection, team supervision, and adherence to safety standards within the VM warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Logistics Management

  • Manage the movement and distribution of VM assets across the retail network.

  • Receive all shipments into the warehouse and verify them against purchase or procurement documentation.

  • Report any discrepancies or damages promptly and ensure they are followed up accordingly.

  • Maintain precise inventory records of all VM assets stored in the warehouse.

  • Coordinate the organized and timely disposal of assets through staff sales or approved disposal processes.

Asset Care & Facility Keeping

  • Implement protective measures to minimize damage or unnecessary wear and tear of assets.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and organization within the warehouse facility.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and lead a team of Warehouse Coordinators and Drivers.

  • Ensure the team is guided, trained, and motivated to deliver on tasks in alignment with business processes.

  • Schedule and manage daily delivery operations and logistics routes.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols in line with company and legal standards.

  • Promote a safety-first culture within the warehouse environment.


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • A vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline is advantageous.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail logistics, warehouse management, or stockroom operations—ideally within a fashion or retail business.

Key Competencies

  • Highly process-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.

  • Familiarity with retail operational systems and warehouse best practices.
