About The Role

 

To conceptualise, design and implement visual merchandising strategies and plans, with a view to uphold the brand image in consonance with merchandising standards and enhance the presence in the market place so as to assist in achieving operational and marketing objectives. 

 

 What You’ll Be Doing

 

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Formulate a Visual Merchandising Strategy which is in keeping with the image and standards of the brands represented and present it to the General Manager, along with projected budget requirements.
  • Prepare the Visual Display calendar for all the brands taking into consideration seasonal requirements, promotions, brand specific activities, discuss with the relevant departments to ensure its effective implementation.
  • Conduct regular store visits and liaise with the store staff to carry out the merchandising in the stores.
  • Coach/ guide the store personnel about the importance of visual merchandising/ awareness, through delivering training sessions on Visual Merchandising.
  • Ensure the standards of visual merchandising are being maintained in all the stores.
  • Research on trends in visual displays and merchandising techniques in the regional and international markets and propose new/ innovative ideas to ensure the brand presence is in line with the international trends and standards but at the same time reflects regional flavour.

 

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

  • Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.

 

About you

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years Creative experience, at least 3 of which are in a managerial position

 

Education/Certification and Continued Education

  • Diploma in Design, Display and Exhibition
