Senior Learning & Development Specialist
Job Purpose:
Support the Senior Learning and Development Manager in driving a strategic and high-impact learning culture within Al Tayer Motors (ATM), ensuring alignment with business objectives and talent development priorities.
- Strategic Training Needs Assessment: Lead the process of identifying and analyzing organizational training needs, working closely with business leaders to anticipate future skill requirements and workforce development trends.
- Learning Strategy & Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning programs using diverse interventions such as classroom, virtual, and digital learning, ensuring alignment with ATM’s business goals and evolving industry best practices.
- Certification & Compliance Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of certification programs, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, accreditation requirements, and timely execution to support career progression and business needs.
- Advanced Learning Delivery: Deliver tailored learning solutions, catering to diverse audiences across behavioural, technical, and leadership competencies, ensuring alignment with business transformation initiatives.
- Induction & Onboarding Excellence: Enhance and manage the ATM induction program, ensuring new joiners receive a structured and impactful onboarding experience that integrates them seamlessly into the organization. Provide data-driven insights to HR for continuous improvements.
- Industry Benchmarking & Best Practices: Conduct research and benchmark leading talent development practices, both internally and externally, to proactively introduce innovative learning solutions that drive employee engagement and performance excellence.
- Training Program Development: Design and execute competency-based learning programs and materials, aligned with ATM’s strategic priorities and workforce capability requirements.
- Learning Governance & Operational Excellence: Ensure training programs are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget, maintaining a balance between cost efficiency and learning impact.
- Training Impact & Effectiveness: Establish robust mechanisms to validate training nominations, track participation, and assess learning effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback analytics.
- Employee Development & Capability Building: Facilitate and implement structured learning and talent development initiatives, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development programs, to support career growth and talent retention.
- Knowledge Management & Learning Systems: Manage and optimize learning documentation systems, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and utilization of learning records, insights, and performance analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Industry & Business Alignment: Stay abreast of emerging learning technologies, talent development trends, and business innovations to ensure ATM remains competitive and future-ready in its workforce capabilities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: Partner with senior leaders, HR teams, and department heads to embed a strong learning culture, ensuring training initiatives contribute to organizational success.
- Training Effectiveness & ROI Analysis: Develop and implement post-training evaluation frameworks to measure effectiveness, impact on job performance, and return on investment (ROI), using qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Leadership & Culture Building: Champion a continuous learning culture by introducing cutting-edge e-learning solutions, gamification techniques, and blended learning approaches to enhance employee engagement and skill development.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide strategic reports and data-driven recommendations to the Senior Learning and Development Manager, highlighting key achievements, trends, and opportunities to optimize training impact and workforce development strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, with a qualification in Training or Human Resources
- Five to Seven years of relevant experience (various aspects of training – planning, designing, delivery, and administration)
