Job Purpose

To deliver exceptional customer service by identifying client needs, offering expert advice, demonstrating relevant products, and fostering customer relationships. This role also ensures adherence to store standards, supports in achieving sales targets, and cultivates long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and proactively identify their needs through engaging questions and consultations.

  • Recommend suitable products, demonstrate their usage, and suggest complementary items to drive link sales.

  • Close sales effectively while delivering a professional and pleasant till-point experience.

  • Follow up with regular customers to build strong, lasting relationships.

  • Maintain personal grooming standards in line with brand guidelines.

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.

  • Keep customers informed about current in-store promotions and offers.

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure products are clean, hygienic, and well presented.

  • Rotate stock efficiently to ensure older inventory is prioritized on display.

  • Ensure housekeeping standards are upheld, including window displays and tester areas.

  • Monitor daily stock levels and recommend reorders to the Store Manager or Counter Supervisor to maintain optimal stock availability.

  • Support store and office administrative tasks as requested, including maintaining accurate customer database cards.

  • Comply with all company policies and standard operating procedures.

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Training in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or Make-up.

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience in the beauty industry, preferably within a premium or luxury brand.
