Team Leader – Beauty (Areej, Mall of the Emirates)

As a Team Leader – Beauty, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional shopping experiences while leading and developing a talented team.

Job Purpose
To lead, support, and inspire the Beauty team in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high retail standards, and ensuring smooth department operations—including merchandising, stock control, and performance management—in order to achieve sales targets and uphold the brand’s reputation.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure brand and retail standards are consistently maintained across the department.

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service and motivating the team to do the same.

  • Coach and support team members in building strong client relationships and delivering high-value sales.

  • Welcome and greet every customer warmly, confidently identify their needs, and recommend suitable products—including link sales opportunities—to close each transaction effectively.

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally, escalating to the Store Manager where necessary.

  • Support the induction and training of new team members in coordination with the Store Manager and Training team.

  • Uphold personal grooming and professional standards, encouraging team adherence.

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels daily, reporting to the Store Manager to ensure optimum availability.

  • Minimize stock loss through strong floor vigilance and compliance with company policies.

  • Ensure department compliance with all policies and procedures including refunds, exchanges, security, and health & safety.

What You’ll Bring

  • High school / “O” Levels (minimum qualification).

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales or customer service, ideally within beauty, fashion, or luxury retail.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively.

  • Passion for beauty, luxury, and delivering a premium customer experience.
