Job Purpose:
To attract the right talent for Al Tayer Motors on the short term and the long term, ensuring there is alignment between candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities, and the requirements of Al Tayer Motors jobs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of workforce plans, identify and evaluate critical workforce segments, their roles, skills/competences, and staffing levels, and identify gaps/risks and resulting action plans to reduce these risks
  • Follow recruitment plans, processes and tools of Al Tayer Motors, while working with Talent Acquisition Manager, GMs, and Head of departments in order to assess staffing needs on a periodic basis

  • Administer inquiries relating to job recruitment initiatives and respond to queries concerning job openings, sifting through resumes, organizing and maintaining data related to a Al Tayer Motor’s recruiting activities

  • Manage vacancies, screen resumes, and facilitate the process of interveiwing as required

  • Issue and maintain employment contract and job offers

  • Keep terms and conditions of job offers in alignment with Al Tayer Group policies and procedures, and with the workforce plan and budget requirement

  • Support in the activities of career development as needed, e.g., job descriptions, career paths, rotations, and job enlargement

  • Coordinate as required with external recruitment agencies serving Al Tayer Motors and ensure an effective working relationship through transparent communications throughout the recruitment life cycle

  • Identify opportunities to continually improve the overall candidate assessment process both in terms of cost and time efficiency as well as the overall effectiveness

  • Ensure that new hires are getting the proper induction at Al Tayer Motors at various levels e.g. on the job, culture, introduction to peers, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources

  • Minimum three to five years of relevant experience

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence

  • Strong written and oral skills

  • Excellent decision making skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency in HRIS (Taleo, Oracle Fusion)

  • Knowledge of methodologies and programs in workforce planning and recruitment strategies

  • Required to commute across regions within the UAE

  • May be required to travel outside the UAE

  • Proficiency in English, Arabic will be a plus
