Job Purpose
To provide expert tailoring, fitting, and alteration services to Bloomingdale’s customers, ensuring every garment meets their individual preferences and fits flawlessly. The Tailor will deliver superior service and precision, maintaining Bloomingdale’s reputation for excellence and personalisation.
Key Responsibilities
Advise customers on the best tailoring and alteration options to achieve their desired fit and finish.
Carry out all alterations, repairs, and fittings according to customer requirements and company standards.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of garments to maintain service excellence.
Maintain a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and garment care.
Work closely with the sales and fitting teams to provide a seamless, luxury experience for all customers.
Uphold Bloomingdale’s brand image and contribute to enhancing customer loyalty.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications:
High school qualification with a diploma or certificate in Tailoring.
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in tailoring, preferably within luxury retail or fashion.
Languages:
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a strong focus on customer service.
