Job Purpose
To provide attentive support to the store by ensuring all items are properly stored in the stockroom in an organized, accessible manner, while efficiently managing deliveries and stock placement on the shop floor.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Receive items from the loading bay and deliver them to the relevant stockroom
Ensure all items are labeled with correct barcodes and equipped with security tags
Verify deliveries, sign delivery slips, and file records by brand and date
Assist Commercial Merchandisers and Sales Consultants in preparing stock for display and timely shop floor placement
Notify the Manager of deliveries received and report any damages or losses
Merchandise tills with POS materials daily (shopping bags, credit card slip holders) and remove used security tags
Complete Delivery Concern Reports for items missing barcodes, security tags, or found damaged; coordinate returns to the warehouse
Maintain housekeeping, safety, security, and health measures in the store to prevent accidents
Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure easy access and retrieval of products at all times
Job Requirements
Education / Certification and Continued Education
High school qualification
Years of Experience
1–2 years of experience in a similar field
Knowledge and Skills
Strong team player
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
