Operations Planner - 2 Year Contract
Job Requirements
· A bachelor's degree is a requirement.
· 5+ years of experience within a multi-channel retail organization, leading a team of planners, associate planners and assistant planners.
· Previous experience in distribution & wholesale of brand products would be an advantage.
· Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.
· Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results, proficiency in retail math.
· Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
· Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-one, small and large groups, and with peers and bosses.
· Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
· Can identify and articulate the processes necessary to get things done efficiently and align resources effectively to complete activities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Planning systems and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.
· Anticipate risks and identifies contingency plans and processes to prevent disruptions when risks occur.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead motivate and develop team members.
· Product / brand orientation with strong knowledge of retail and distribution industries and benchmarks.
· Advanced knowledge of merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment and financial planning systems, tools and reporting.
· Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results, whilst focusing on continuous improvement.
· Proven track record of building collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Ability to evaluate business opportunities and identify potential risks.
· Proficient in the English language.
