About The Role
The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible to implement plans and controls minimizing loss of inventory, cash and/ or revenue leakage.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct store audits and self assessment reviews
- Conduct ongoing CCTV footage review and analysis of high risks.
- Conduct adhoc store visits to review compliance with LP controls and highlight key risk areas
- Incidents & exception monitoring and recommendation build to prevention reoccurrence / impact
- Raise issues and long outstanding incidents on inadequate controls in inventory & cash handling
- Direct work of contract security officers
- Direct external security company and raise issues with performance
- Inspect buildings, equipment, or access points to determine security risk and confirm adequacy
- Respond to all Security Incident Reports raised by the stores / distribution reference security equipment.
- Implements relevant measures to ensure company compliance is adhered to
- Conduct Security Audits and generate a subsequent action plan to Operations and the relevant business
- Perform adhoc store visits to review all security equipment is used correctly. To include CCTV, EAS and intruder alarm system
- Assists in, or apprehends shoplifters and liaises with Mall Security / local police. Advises stores on procedures dealing with shoplifters and assists in subsequent police cases.
About You
The successful person requires to have the below qualification, skills and experience:
- Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Loss prevention or security management.
- Excellent in Microsoft applications like Excel and Power Point
- Previous experience in Audit checks, stocks and inventory control and preparing incident reports, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
