Job Purpose
To manage and monitor inventory and stock holdings by minimizing system stock issues, controlling stock movements, and implementing procedures to ensure minimal discrepancies. Oversee returns, conduct investigations, and deliver accurate reporting to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Oversight

Act as the custodian of business inventory, responsible for overall inventory management operations

Optimize warehouse storage space through ABC and heat map analysis

Collaborate with Loss Prevention to implement stock loss action plans

Review damage trends and create mitigation strategies

Support shrinkage analysis and reduction planning

Ensure timeliness and accuracy of inventory transactions
Inventory Management & Controls

Investigate inventory discrepancies from cycle counts or picking operations and take corrective actions

Oversee stock transfers across warehouses and stores ensuring proper system updates

Coordinate returns to suppliers with Buying & Finance teams

Maintain logs for credit notes, RTVs, and system adjustments, and ensure accurate submission to Finance

Monitor daily transactions and ensure all discrepancies are logged and resolved appropriately

Manage the perpetual stock take calendar and ensure compliance across locations

Track expiry and obsolete stock, prepare visibility reports, and coordinate disposal or RTV
-
Lead and audit physical stock counts, review findings, and prepare recommendations
Reporting & Analysis

Share monthly shrinkage data with stakeholders and provide final reports

Provide regular updates on stock movements, pending transfers, and cycle counts

Submit insights and trends to management for strategic planning
People Management & HSE

Coach and develop team members to ensure high performance and succession readiness

Review operations with a risk management perspective and escalate concerns to the HSE committee

Maintain compliance with company HSE standards and proactively promote safe practices

Communicate performance updates and brief teams on key operational developments

Foster a positive work culture to reduce attrition and absenteeism
Education & Certification Requirements

Graduate degree with strong knowledge in warehousing and inventory management
Experience Requirements
-
3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management
-
Experience in e-commerce or retail logistics environments preferred
Knowledge & Skills
-
Computer literacy and advanced MS Excel skills

Knowledge of Oracle WMS preferred

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Analytical, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Fluent in English
