Job Purpose
Strategically support Al Tayer Real Estate (ATRE) in Business Planning, financial planning and reporting, maintaining effective controls over the company‘s financial processes and preparing financial statements, management information and budgets in line with Al Tayer Group guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Support the Business Head in the development of Financial Strategy for Al Tayer Real Estate.
• Manage timely preparation of the financial budget & business plan in coordination with the Group Corporate Finance.
• Provide financial and commercial advise and analysis for business development opportunities including NPV and IRR calculations to support the investment decision making process.
• Ensure effective implementation and enforcement of the established financial strategy as well as the financial policies and procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide key financial information within established timelines to the Business Head in areas such as operating results, budget versus actual, and report any issues with respect to planning and budgeting.
• Produce a cash flow roll out schedule identifying the demand for financial means in line with individual project progress, update the same on regular intervals at least once per month.
• Monitor the day-to-day cash needs for the company; develop reporting mechanism to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Align with the Corporate Finance team on reporting requirements, including preparation of year-end and interim financial statements to be produced in line with ATG guidelines and policy and up to date IFRS guidelines.
• Aligning to Group Finance governance and policies, design and maintain an effective control environment over all key financial processes for Al Tayer Real Estate, ensuring the business unit specific needs are considered and met including accounts receivable and accounts payables as well as accounting and reporting.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT return and maintaining proper records for Tax Auditor for the company.


Experience & Qualification:

 

• Recognized professional qualification in Finance (CA, ACCA, CPA equivalent) with appropriately maintained Continuing Professional Development.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience, with at least 3 years’ experience as a Finance Manager for a Real Estate company.
• Should have a good understanding of various accounting aspects and international trends and standards.
• Proficient in English language, Arabic would be an advantage.
• Should have good analytical, numerical and research skills.
• Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to lead, develop and motivate teams.
