Job Purpose

To manage and develop the team in order to achieve high levels of revenue, maintain brand image, ensure operational compliance, and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Drive store sales performance and exceed targets by identifying commercial opportunities and optimizing team efforts.

  • Cultivate a customer-first culture, resolving complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Minimize stock loss by ensuring strict adherence to Al Tayer Group’s policies and procedures.

  • Analyse stock and sales reports to maximize opportunities and share key insights with Buying and Planning teams.

  • Conduct regular and accurate stock takes in coordination with the Operations team.

  • Plan, manage, and review promotional and brand activation activities; provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners.

  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

  • Understand customer profiles and regularly provide insights to Marketing, Buying, and Planning teams.

  • Maintain Visual Merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.

  • Monitor and enhance sales per square foot to ensure maximum floor productivity.

  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities; share relevant insights with leadership.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and motivation to the store team to meet performance goals.

  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and prepare them for career progression.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans where necessary.

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in successfully running a profitable retail store, ideally within the luxury or lifestyle sector.
