Content Manager

You will need to have:

• Minimum of 6 yrs work experience in a similar role with at least one to two years managing three or more direct reports with at least one year within ecommerce, retail environment (preferably luxury).
• A degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or any other editorial-related concentrations and previous writing experience that indicates a strong editorial point of view and sound knowledge of all categories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – a strong grasp of spelling and grammar is essential.
• Understanding of SEO principles and keep abreast of online publishing developments.
• Ability to grasp copy brief requirements quickly.
• Previous experience using content management systems preferable, Contentful, Core Media and SFCC/SFMC would be a bonus
• Strengths in analysing, synthesizing and summarizing high volumes of information.
• Proven experiencecontributing to and executing a content strategy in line with the broader brand strategy. Creating coherence between content, social marketing, email and other functions within the division.
• Highly organised with the capability to multi-task, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and manage a seasonal calendar with perfect execution.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise work effectively, judge the relative importance of conflicting demands and plan actions in order to meet deadlines Previously managed workload using a project management tool
• Ability to easily switch from one tone-of-voice to another during the working day: from more serious corporate talking points, to fresh and pun-inspired social posts. 
• Proven project management experience: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
• A high level of accuracy, with strong editing and proof-reading skills Excellent communication skills with technical contributors, whilst actioning timely response to queries
• A positive attitude, with an ability to remain calm in a high pressure, fast paced environment
