About The Role

 

Responsible for the delivery, creation and uploading of both English and/or Arabic (if required) content onsite, App and all our channels to the highest standards. Ensuring the tone of voice for each brand is adhered to and the delivery of rich content is on-brand, on-time and as per briefed.

Working across a variety of projects online and offline that will meet the ever-evolving needs of the business, meet stringent deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a high standard of communication across the wider teams and throughout the business.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

·        Assist in the Style Guide and Tone of Voice development across all retail brand portfolio

·        Develop a glossary input and translation repository enhancements

·        Propose concepts and expansion for stories and campaigns as per the defined content matrix for all areas of the business

·        Brainstorm the overall seasonal themes for the business across our owned media channels

·        Support in the introduction of appropriate talent to the business, including a substantial roster of photographers - both new and established

·        Deliver weekly content updates across web and app using a content management system (HP, Category landing pages, listing page, email, SMS & Push content)

·        Effectively manage workload via Clickup, updating status of tasks are complete

·        Manage BAU feedback from various teams, ensuring updates are captured and confirmed with stakeholders

·        Support with content execution, meeting deadlines for the wider business review and regional differences

·        Ad-hoc competitor analysis, suggesting opportunities for new content modules onsite

·        The layout proofing of all digital channels and providing feedback and updates accordingly.

·        Proofing Homepages in the Preview environment as well as the layout check after they are set live.

·        Support the Content Manager, Digital Content Coordinators and other team members to test and review new content developments across all channels

·        Subbing all pages on internal CMSs and setting them live.

·        Subbing and signing-off all editorial copy, as well as verifying the content on posted published, created by the junior team and reviewing design submissions.

·        Developing headlines and sells that have character, authenticity and wit.

·        Submitting cross-channel content ideas in creative meetings.

·        Reviewing website content and communications to ensure all content reaches the necessary high standards, whilst also retaining our distinct

·        Assist in glossary input and Translation Repository enhancements in Arabic (if required)

·        Become a quality guardian for our tone of voice and an expert on particular fashion brands and categories

·        Supporting the Senior Content Editors and Content Managers in providing mentorship and guidance to junior editors and team.

About You

 

·        Minimum of 3 yrs work experience with at least two years within eCommerce,and  retail environment (preferably luxury).

·        A degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or any other fashion-related concentrations and previous writing experience that indicates a strong editorial point of view and sound knowledge of fashion, fabrics and brands.

·        Previous experience using content management systems preferable, Contentful, Core Media and SFCC/SFMC would be a bonus

·        Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and managing Content Management Systems (Salesforce/Demandware an added plus).

·        Exceptional writing and editing skills – Flawless spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

·        Ability to faultlessly apply and cross-reference high volumes of feedback

·        Ability to manage multiple campaigns across multiple time zones in order to meet strict deadlines with clear communication to stakeholders.

·        Ability to easily switch from one tone of voice to another during the working day: from more serious corporate talking points to fresh and pun-inspired social posts.

·        Highly organised with the capability to multi-task, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and manage a seasonal calendar with perfect execution.

·        Ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively

·        Excellent communication skills with technical contributors, whilst actioning timely response to queries

·        A positive attitude, with an ability to remain calm in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
