About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and strategic Beauty Buyer to curate and drive a commercially strong, customer-focused beauty assortment.
In this role, you’ll plan, forecast, and purchase across a prestigious portfolio of brands — including Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès, Coty, and other global leaders — ensuring the right product mix, pricing, and volumes to meet customer needs, elevate brand positioning, and deliver profitability.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the beauty offering across both online and offline retail channels in a trend-led, fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with international brand partners and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Buying & Merchandising
Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and sell-through to inform buying strategies.
Select the range, type, quality, and quantity of merchandise in line with customer demand, seasonal trends, and budgets.
Partner with the Division Merchandise Manager/GMM to define pricing and sell-through targets.
Build and maintain profitable supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance.
Collaborate with Planning to optimize stock levels and manage replenishment.
Provide input into marketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring stock availability.
Regularly track sales performance and recommend adjustments to buying strategies.
Conduct store visits across markets to monitor brand performance and competitor activity.
Brand & Training Support
Guide PR & Marketing teams on product selections for campaigns.
Negotiate supplier-led brand training programs and deliver in-house trend/product knowledge sessions.
People Leadership
Lead, coach, and motivate your team towards achieving shared goals.
Provide mentorship and ensure continuous development for future leadership roles.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Buyer in Beauty, ideally within a multi-brand, prestige/luxury environment.
5+ years of retail buying experience with a successful track record of building commercially viable assortments.
Strong commercial acumen with a passion for beauty trends and customer experience.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills.
