We at Al Tayer Group are looking for a Temporary Training Coordinator to assist the Training & Development department to arrange for external training programmes for various levels of staff, and administer the in-house training resource center in order to encourage staff to participate in the learning process

Key responsibilities

1. Assist and liaise with internal and external training providers to maintain training calendar, organize the venue, nomination/ invitations, transport, training resources/ kits catering etc. to facilitate smooth implementation of training activities related to Group wide initiatives like GDP / LDP / Oracle / Retail 101 etc.
2. Coordinate certification / celebration / other training events for Group wide development initiatives such as GDP/ LDP etc.
3. Facilitate periodic Employee Induction/ Orientation Program.
4. Coordinate exceptional training projects e.g. training feedback surveys (1800/ 3600), Well being programme trainings, Learning Hall initiatives etc.
5.  Liaise with external training suppliers for registrations provide information to nominated staff.
6.  Follow the internal training and finance processes to ensure smooth registration of nominees and timely payments to suppliers.
6. Maintain an up-to-date database on the type and duration of training courses conducted, no. of participants attended and the costs involved, evaluation forms etc to provide periodic status reports for analysis.
7. Maintain and update various Training Systems such as LMS, Intranet, HR Infosouq etc. and upload e-learning content.
8. Collate the monthly training announcements and provide the information to Training Manager for publication.
9. Maintain an up-to-date database in the stipulated format to provide periodic status reports (MIS) for analysis.
10.  Generate quarterly reports translated to presentations and ensure team huddles have the appropriate data available
11. Raise LPOs, keep contracts updated and liaise with Finance and ensure compliance to the finance processes for timely payment to suppliers.

Person Requirements

Graduate in any discipline
Computer Proficiency with exposure to LMS will be advantageous
Good command of oral and written English
Exposure to multi-cultural workforce/ environment
Mature, courteous, able to work under pressure, well organized
Customer service orientation
3 to 4 years relevant experience

Knowledge of MS Excel is essential for the role

The candidate should be available for 3 - 4 months immediately for a temporary assignment having valid husband / father's sponsorship.
