We at Al Tayer Group are looking for Temporary Human Resources Executive as a part of our HR Business Partner team for a period of 4 months.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a mid to large size organisation in Dubai having worked in HR and available immediately on a dependent’s sponsorship.

The Key Responsibilities would be:

• Contribute in developing unit specific selection processes for timely and cost-effective recruitment of right personnel as per recruitment plan and in accordance to recruitment and manpower budgets. Source cost-effective and appropriate channels, both locally and overseas, to have a wide pool of suitable, prospective candidates available to fill identified vacancies.
• Draft suitable appointment adverts and arrange their release in appropriate publications, receive and screen CVs and liaise with concerned parties to arrange selection process.
• Manage recruitment process through e-recruitment portal/ system ensuring compliance of policy, SPAs and documentation and reporting to uphold the company/ Group wide standards of recruitment and selection.
• Organise selection process with indenting department and arrange for and conduct interviews, administer psychometric/ trade tests, assessment centres (where applicable) and shortlist/ select suitable candidates to meet the manpower needs in an expeditious manner.
• Co-ordinate amongst recruiting agencies (where required), prospective candidates and the line managers to ensure that the recruitment process is carried through till the end and the vacancy is filled. Complete all necessary documentation with respect to each selection process, including antecedent verification, paperwork pertaining to visa requirement and feedback communication to unsuccessful candidates
• Prepare and submit periodic status report to monitor the progress of the recruitment process, status and resolution of issues.
• Act as a representative of the HR function within the BU, providing day-to-day HR support to employees and management.
• Participate in the implementation of employee induction and orientation plans within the units in conjunction with the Employee Services team and subsequent follow-up on progress of new recruits in their jobs through the induction & probation period including identification of any training needs to complement the learning on the job.
• Where appropriate, handle staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide guidance to line managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with HR policies procedures and undertake suitable measures to aid retention.
• Facilitate the performance management process, drive appraisal process for its successful conclusion during probation and annual cycle, review & report outcomes to HR Manager for further analysis & decisions in training, reward & performance management area.
• Provide counseling and advice to all employees in line with company and HR policies and procedures
• Facilitate smooth transition of employees exiting the organization by coordinating with the relevant departments in ensuring payment of final settlement dues and cancellation of visas within appropriate time frame.
• Oversee entry and maintenance of employee data on all HR systems and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the same.

Person Specification

• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources
• 5 - 6 years relevant experience.
• Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills.
• Should have strong influencing skills
