Job Purpose

To manage execution of the maintenance & repair operations within budgets for all the ATG commercial & residential properties to ensure on time services to all customers

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage execution and ensure coordination of all maintenance service and repairs pertaining to building and related equipment.
  • Take charge of all emergencies and ensures responsible back-up is available in order to take corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage, monitor and review records of all equipment's, tools, spare parts and other asset registries.
  • Implement all maintenance and general procurement of material and parts, schedules installations and oversee that such repairs are accomplished in a safe and timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage the execution of preventive maintenance programs for utility systems, equipment, building maintenance as per the plant preventive maintenance plan [PPMP] and ensure that safety practices are followed.
  • Gather and maintains accurate records with regards to annual inspection of equipment and general preventative maintenance.
  • Participate and control operations in assigned sections including inspecting new projects, developing and implementing modifications and improvements, recommending specification, scheduling for contracts and inspecting contractors work to ensure that work is carried out as per contractual scope and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Provide technical information related to projects including resolving problems and handling complaints and initiate escalation to senior management as and when necessary.
  • Provide input into the development of the operating budget for the assigned area of responsibilities and ensure cost control.
  • Prepare snag list report to be ready for servicing ATRE properties and follow up until completion of snags.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/ diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification relevant to facilities management.
  • 4 -6 years work experience in Facilities Management with 3-4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Good people management and communication skills
